The Fruit Loop Society of Alberta is an Edmonton-based, volunteer-led non-profit social enterprise. We provide inclusive events, dynamic social media, and special initiatives for Alberta’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.
We acknowledge that our events take place on Treaty 6 territory, and recognizes that the Métis people also share a deep connection with this land. We are proud to celebrate and collaborate with the Indigenous and Two Spirit communities through representation and active support.
Our Mission
Established in 2013, the Fruit Loop Society of Alberta is dedicated to supporting and promoting non-profit groups within the 2SLGBTQ+ community by providing well-respected and popular private events that showcase local talent and culture. We also aim to educate our members on current provincial, national, and international 2SLGBTQ+ issues through its social media channels.
A Fruit Loop event is designed to be more than just a typical night out. We work with talented local performers and artists to offer an evening of unique and creative entertainment. Proceeds from each event are then reinvested back into a variety of 2SLGBTQ+ community programs and initiatives. The Fruit Loop Society was established in 2013 and has helped to raise over $150 000 for local community organizations in the Edmonton area.
safer spaces
We believe in providing a safe space for all members of the community. This includes providing safe sex supplies and harm reduction information at each of our events. We work with our venue partners to ensure that everyone is able to have a good time.
events
The Fruit Loop Society has been producing successful events and co-hosting 18+ events since 2013. Our signature Fruit Loop events are organized around various nonprofit and charitable partners who serve the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Our partnership events are opportunities to collaborate and support groups who wish to contribute to the community.

It may be news, opinion pieces, entertainment or satire. Sharing content does not indicate that the Fruit Loop Society agrees or endorses the perspectives or viewpoints. Our volunteers regularly post and monitor the page.
